These terms govern use of the Banowi platform, operated by Banowi, registered at 866 D Central Park Housing Scheme, Lahore, Pakistan. By creating an account you agree to them.
What the service is
Banowi lets a merchant connect their own WhatsApp Business Account and their own Shopify store, and then answer their customers on WhatsApp from a shared inbox, with assistance from an automated agent.
Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account, for keeping your credentials secure, and for what the people you invite to your workspace do with it.
Your WhatsApp Business Account
The WhatsApp Business Account and phone number you connect remain yours. You authorise us to send and receive messages on that number, to manage message templates, and to read the account's configuration, solely to provide this service. You may withdraw that authorisation at any time by disconnecting from the dashboard.
Your use of WhatsApp through Banowi is also governed by Meta's WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and Business Terms. You are responsible for the content of the messages sent from your number, and for messaging only people who have a legitimate relationship with your business.
Automated replies
The assistant drafts replies from your catalogue and order data. It can be wrong. You can take over any conversation at any time, and you remain responsible for what is sent from your business number, including automated messages.
Acceptable use
You may not use Banowi to send unsolicited bulk messages, to harass anyone, to impersonate another business, to sell anything you are not lawfully permitted to sell, or to break any law or platform policy that applies to you. We may suspend an account that does.
Availability
We work to keep the service running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Parts of the service depend on Meta, Shopify and other providers, and an outage or policy change at any of them can affect what Banowi can do.
Fees
Banowi is currently provided free of charge while the platform is in early access. We will notify you in advance if this changes. You remain responsible for any charges Meta bills you directly for WhatsApp messaging.
Ending the agreement
You may stop using Banowi and close your account at any time. We may end the agreement if these terms are breached. On termination, we delete or return your data as described in the privacy policy.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost sales, arising from your use of the service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Lahore have exclusive jurisdiction.
